LOL, they joke all the time - which leads most guys to using the wrong terms. "Go to hell." "How do I get in line." "That's a loser." All these things mean nothing if there's no history. "Lying bitch," says Chris Christie, "is actually being raped." The filming is not from the pier; these guys ARE "riding bikes," which is where the joke is.
